Wildlife Wednesday! This week’s fact comes from Krislyn, who suggested this fact on our wall. Bald eagles are thought to mate for life, returning to the same nest each year, adding new sticks, leaves, and moss. The males are smaller than the females, and both work together to raise their young, which leave the care of ...the parents after about 15 weeks.

Wildlife Wednesday! This fact is brought to you by Lulu who suggested this wildlife fact on our wall. "Opossums DO play dead when scared!" In fact, when threatened, they will involuntarily lay down, draw their lips back, and secrete foul smelling fluids to mimic the appearance of a dead animal.
Tricky, tricky!
