The Garden closes at 4pm on the 31st to allow volunteers and staff to enjoy New Years Eve. But, we'll be open bright and early on New Years Day with regular hours (8am to 8pm) - a great way to start the New Year!

Desert Botanical Garden The Garden’s event planners are hard at work on Spiked! for spring 2010. Spiked! is the Garden’s Thursday night cocktail hour with bands, food and fun. What cocktails would you like to see at Spiked!?

Desert Botanical Garden Check out this awesome stop motion video produced by Michael Schennum of The Arizona Republic. It's the staff and volunteers setting out the Lumi bags in early December.

Behind the Lens: The inspiration for this video came from a really neat stop-motion video on a blog post by photographer Tim Kemple. His video created some nice animation that can't really be done with a typical camcorder. The challenge for me... />
