I read the comment about someone being denied First Class boarding because they were wearing a track suit. Shoot, I will wear a blazer flying Southwest, so when I fly First going transatlantic, I will be dressed appropriately and bristle when I see fellow First Class passengers dressed like they are going to the local dive bar.

On this episode of Jetiquette, we discuss the issue of large passengers and whether the situation could be handled better or at least with a little more compassion. Plus, have you used inflight WiFi on any of your airline flights? Have you wondered whether it could be come an airborne nuisance? G...

Great Episode! I hope I didn't give mis-information about they "crying/excited baby" I got my info from a Morning news show on the radio. We just got back from a trip to Budapest and on the leg from Frankfurt to Denver there was interestingly enough a very strange 30 YO woman in a hot pink Tracksuit wandering the aisles of the plane drunk out of her mind (She also had a toy dog under her seat). My Fiance was ready to throttle her if she walked by us one more time and bumped him.

Dear Sky Steward Here's the Sunday Giveaway question:
What does the original Pan Am Terminal, that served Clipper flying boats headed to Cuba and South America, function as today?

The first correct answer receives this Pan Am Bag. 2 others will receive Pan Am passport covers. I am sure that those who've already received these will agree that they are fabulous!

Dear Sky Steward
Dear Sky Steward
Scott and Margery, I agree with you. It is not worth it sometimes to struggle with overhead space...checking the bag makes it more civilized. The airlines should make sure that the checked baggage experience is as pleasant as possible especially since many are paying for it.

As the guy who was quoted in your USA Today article pointed out, charging for carry on items might be one answer. People are not stupid, and if they can gate check for free why should they pay to leave their bags at the ticket counter??

Ah, I absolutely love your website! Most of my friends choose whom to fly with based on cost, I care about cost but experience is just as important.
I'm glad to finally have a place to talk Jetiquette & compare airline/airport experiences.
By the way, great job with the interview.

It would help if our overhead bins were the same on all of our airplanes, too. What fits on one plane doesn't necessarily fit on their connecting airplane. If it is "fat" it won't fit in our 757s. And what fits wheels out on one plane doesn't always on another. They think they are helping by putting them wheels out but they aren't checking to ... Read Moresee if the bin will close! Then we are delayed because they aren't listening to the pas instructing them to make sure it closes and we are trying to get up the aisle climbing over the passengers and their rollaboards (trying not to snag our pantyhose!) to go rearrange the luggage so the bins will close. Oh, there goes my back again......
