I am in a race for City Council that begins early voting on MONDAY Nov 9th. The Oceanside City Clerk has included a seated council member as a "candidate" and as such has given him a "candidate's statement" in the Voter Pamphlet. That statement is the second one, after his response to the recall statement. THAT council... member is the subject of the recall.
Both the FPPC and the San Diego ROV have claimed it's out of their area and say that it's all on the City Clerk, who does not respond to my written request for explanation. Is help an option?

We are seeking hosts throughout the state to participate in our campaign kick-off Day of House Parties to support Debra Bowen’s reelection to California Secretary of State. Debra will hold a conference call with attendees to discuss our elections and conduct Q&A. November 7th is the anniversary of the infamous “hanging... chad” Bush/Gore 2000 Presidential election and a reminder of the importance the Secretary of State’s position holds for our nation.

If you are interested, please email L.J. Carusone at RSVP@DebraBowen.com.

Will www.debrabowen.com be your official website for your re-election efforts in 2010? We're completing a pamphlet for the Solano Stroll next week for the Voting Rights Task Force. As one of the few things people can do to support election integrity efforts, we'll be encouraging everyone to support your re-election. ... But your website is out of date - all pointing back to the last election against Bruce McPherson. I want to add a web address to our pamphlet and plan to use the one above, assuming that you will soon be updating it for the next election. Let me know either way. Thanks!Read More
