Our family stopped for dinner at the Auburn Restaurant #8029 on Sunday, November 1, 2009 on our way home to Reno. The service was awful. We waited fifteen minutes for our menu's, ten minutes for our drinks, another ten minutes for the waitress to come back after serving the drinks to take our order and then we waited another half an hour for our... Read More food to arrive. The restaurant was a quarter full with one waitress. The food was ok but pricey for quality and service. It gets better. I handed the manager my credit card to pay for my bill and he handed it back to me after he processed it. As I was putting my credit card in my wallet, the manager was impatiently waving a pen at me to sign the credit card transaction. I ignored him and continued to secure my credit card in my wallet and then my purse. The manager continued to wave the pen in my face and let me know by his body language how annoyed HE WAS! I assure you I will think more than twice before I spend $40 in a Denny's again.

The kicker for me was when the on duty manager told me he would be "right back" and made me wait at the register for eight minutes while he bussed tables!!

Pat, we're really sorry that you didn't enjoy your trip to Denny's. Thanks for the info, we'll look into this.
