Jason Went birding this morning on a beautiful, sunny, winter morning. Saw the follwoing: Black-billed magpies, Red-winged blackbirds, Dark-eyed Juncos, American crow, Candadian geese, Mallards, Black-capped chikadees, & House Finches.

Denver Botanic Gardens Celebrate the New Year with a million sparkling lights (and be at home safe and sound at midnight, or have plenty of time to get to your party)! Blossoms of Light is open 5:30-10 p.m. on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 at York Street, and so is Trail of Lights at Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield in Littleton.
Denver Botanic Gardens York Street will be closed on Friday, Jan. 1. Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield has a SCFD-funded Free Day on Jan. 1 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Trail of Lights is a ticketed event and not part of the Free Day.
Denver Botanic Gardens Blossoms of Light is open tonight and tomorrow night at York Street, and so is Trail of Lights at Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield. Both are stunning with the sparkling snow! Both York Street and Chatfield will be closed for the day on Christmas.
