Hi everyone. I am a mother of an 11 year old girl who was diagnosed with type 1 in July. We are expats living in Delhi, India our home town is Harrogate North Yorkshire which we return to twice a year. Hey guys,
I recently got referred to a diabetes clinic by my GP in Manchester. When I called to make an appointment they said I couldn't be seen until Feb next year! I understand that the NHS is stretched for resources at any given time, least of all in specialised areas, but I was really shocked by this.
Has anyone had anything similar happen?
