Don't let it get you down! Before I was diagnosed I had been feeling unwell for so long. When I found out it was diabetes it was almost a relief that it was something I could manage and have control over as I had been fearing the worst. I still hold onto that thought when I start to get down about it......

Cy Meekings-Evans

Cy Meekings-Evans Hey guys,

I recently got referred to a diabetes clinic by my GP in Manchester. When I called to make an appointment they said I couldn't be seen until Feb next year! I understand that the NHS is stretched for resources at any given time, least of all in specialised areas, but I was really shocked by this.

Has anyone had anything similar happen?

Hi to you all :) I have recently started at a new company and they started off by asking me to leave the room to inject then suggested the toilet....now they have said they want to 'agree places suitable' for me to test and inject, and at what times!! Is this legal? I have never had a problem with injecting or testi......ng and now feel that this will make me feel like I am a problem!! There is no grounds for this and I always carry a BD Safe clip should I need to change needles etc so Im always safe around others....has anyone any thoughts and/or been through this kind of treatment before? Thank you for all you help MelxRead MoreRead More
