1st of all, Africans need to be proud of their identity, be the best they can be and design their own system that works for them; instead of importing systems that are designed to work against them.Yesterday at 5:21pm · Comment · Like / Unlike

2nd Solving African problems will require, educating Africans about the disadvantage of Foreign Aid, which is designed to paralyze Africans, not to help them. It will also require the self determination, dedication, hard work and patience of all Africans.

3rd Eliminating corruption, requires that all African government leaders to lead by example. ... 4th African leaders need to read the fine print before they sign any agreement with the western countries that go to African in the name of helping Africans, but have hidden agenda.

@Booker thank you for your comments. These are the chains of generational poverty. You try to break free and the weight comes pulling you down. The institutions to validate voice have been established in the west. We need to establish our own institutons but also have to learn how to use existing intitutions.

We can all talk about it but it will not help until Africans themselves invest in Africa. Then you will really know and understand the problem aids cause in your area. One is aid tilts the market against the investor. Aids is not free money. African leaders are encouraged to borrow just as much as individuals are encouraged to get and use their ... Read Morecredit card. No difference except the borrower in Africa has no liability, that rest in the country and not the borrowing individuals or government. This is free money for those in power. That means no one can stop it. I know of no one who will refuse free money and no liability on it. Does who do are not in power. Answer: Africans go home to invest and fight your own system of gov. to improve it. That is what is done in the west. Increase tax by 0.5%, people are ready to take arm to fight or vote people out of office. Do the same in Africa, people start to pray God in mass and call on him to come down to help: meaning more aid.

I agree that we need to make sure that we learn how to depend on our resources and quit being dependent on the Aid. We have it in us to make too. God is not a respecter of persons.

The reason dambisa must speak to the west is ecause it is the source of the aid. Why would u go to a lazy man and ask him to get to work, when u could go to the site at which his laziness comes from. The only africans dambisa can talk to are govs which want to actually do something productive about it, or else they would just sit and smile and when she is done go back to stealing.
