I would love to have a job where I could bring my dog (well, if I had a dog) to work with me.

I have a heart of mush - it would probably be a tearjerker for me! When and wher did you say it was showing? I don't mind crying a little. ;-}

I know Shelley, I've love to just be bright and sunny all the time on The Dog Files. In fact, nothing would make me happier. But when I see something about canine mistreatment I really feel people have to know.

I trust that individual DF fans will know whether they should read it or maybe skip it this time if it's too sad for them. I like to leave it up to the people.

An example is the Oreo story two weeks back. It was heart wrenching but just too important to ignore.

I so agree...Amen...we owe it to the dogs to be their voices, we are all they have.

Maybe somewhere down the line... lol

Wow. Well, even a small dog may kill someones cat if they got loose. That is not uncommon or unheard of. Sounds to me they are making a mountain out of a mole hill here.

We had a wolf dog for several years. He was a very gentle soul but did kill a goat once upon getting out of our backyard. It seems to me both my situation and the one in Jersey are owner error and the dogs should not be punished. P.S. I currently have a jack russell that is FAR more vicious than my wolf ever was! And, no one has ever tried to ban her!

I didn't know that they were the main dogs in used in WW2! Thanks DF!!! Michelle, you can't go wrong with a dobe!!! I love them!! I will forever have one in my home.. She's the perfect dog! I have 3 dogs in total. 2 of them are German Shepherds, and of course my Dobe! Between my parents and my brother we have 10 GSD's and 2 Dobermans!!! The GSD's ... See Morethat we have are the ones that jump Stand Rock in Wisconsin Dells, WI Thousands of people flock to Stand Rock in the summer to see our world famous jumping dogs!!

Cortney, I have a Savannah " banana" one of my rescued GSDs isn't it funny how we make up cute names for our dogs. My other GSD is Jacky boy. GSD's rule Dobes are cool too!!
