oh well...... so we will finally go back to a skill based economy rather than those poor rich kids educated so well in how to suck it real good...... You only need college to prove that you learned what you could learn by yourself.

Do Something College students in Cali are fighting a new 32% tuition hike -- how can we make college more affordable for students in CA and across the country? What would you do if you were making the big decisions on financial aid and tuition?

Lots of people think that shelter animals that aren’t adopted are euthanized or if they’re in a no-kill shelter, they remain their for their rest of their lives. News is this may not always be true. Five U.S. states require shelters to send un-adopted animals to research facilities. So...

Remember the South African runner, Caster Semenya, whose muscular build fueled questions about her gender? Well, she’s being allowed to keep the gold medal she won in the women's 800-meters at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin in August. ...

Maybe it's cause she really is a female....? You can muscular and still be female, I mean there are girl body builders that are wayyy more muscular than this girl is and their genders aren't called into question. Just because someone may not be as 'feminine' looking by other peoples standards shouldn't make it ok to call their gender into question, and make it a public matter.

that's good she was found innocent..it isn't her fault she was born the way she is!!!..a lot of people that have both parts identify with ONE gender, and she identified herself as FEMALE..so she did nothing wrong! I just hope she isn't getting harassed or worse! People are cruel..

It's so sad that she fell into deep depression and contemplated suicide (as stated in the bottom of this article) I hope she stays strong and keep running because she is talented!

There's been cases where people with aids have donated blood and it was transmitted that way, also. I'm sure the people donating just didn't think about what they were doing. That's part of why instead of just making a lot of jokes out of it, there needs to be some actual discussion about it, especially between teens and adults.

Just a note... when checking out what is needed most at our local food bank, I was told that although they truly appreciate any donations of food, that gifts of money can actually feed more people. One dollar can buy TEN dollars worth of food for our food bank....so donations can be made in cash too. They actually prefer it!! Give what you can afford to give... no one should be hungry during the holidays or EVER.

Do Something A new study finds that on average, women earn 94 percent of what men earn in the same occupation. The gap is higher with jobs paying more than $100,000/yr -- at that level, women earn only 87 percent as much as men. What do you think we can do to change this?? We want your ideas!
