Nelda Sharkey It has been a long time (1991) since I left Morganton and Burke County. I still miss the rolling hills, being able to walk along the steets downtown, and at Christmas a ride through Western Carolina Center.

Julie Dunham Doster I was in Beads and Other Fancy Stuff (408 West Fleming Drive, Suite A - behind Buc's Pizza) this week to buy a Christmas gift. They have a lot of beautiful jewelry and some lovely fused glass jewelry by Diane Enger (Time and Again Designs). They will be open this week from 9:30 am - 5:30 pm through Christmas Eve.
