discovered another reason to consider Barbarian—the Targeted Assault feat. (PP pg, 143) Gain +2 on attack rolls against marked targets? YAWP!

Targets you mark or targets someone else in the party has marked?

Chase
Barbarians don't have a marking system (that I'm aware of), so this would probably include any enemy marked by any defender class (paladin, fighter, warden, etc.)

Michael
As cool as barbarians are, I would just like to point out that Wardens own. Thank you.

I've had a barbarian dwarf since it came out in Dragon! Love the improvements since then. Awesome Class...
Now to play an Assassin!!!!!!! can't wait.

Ranged marks would be even better...

All the more reason to MC or Hybrid a Warden/Barbarian (Or any other defender/Barb combo).

Cy Passley
Well there are some feats that allow you to mark enemies once per encounter or something.
I agree with Michael though, Wardens own pretty hard.

James
so far, I have been doing better with controllers

I use a warden that multi-classes into barbarian. Mark everything in sight, and then clean up the mess.

So far the character I enjoy most is my Dwarven Wizard Multiclass into Barbarian

Chris Wachal
Yeah, this feat needs to be fixed. It has different text in the table(+2 to hit targets who have marked you) than it does in the feat itself(+2 to hit targets you have marked). Not only that, but there are almost no Barbarian powers which mark.
It is way better for Defenders who multiclass into Barbarian, in which case it is extremely powerful.

John Gronquist
Warden/Barbarian would rock this feat.

Bill Kerney
Hmm, one WOTC employee said it was a typo, and was supposed to do as the table says, which is +2 against targets marking YOU.

What other people have been saying - this is a confirmed typo.

Being marked by an opponent is a strangely common thing... I can see this feat getting a lot of play, altho it's not my first choice for sure.

...Barbarians have a mark?

Douglas Kilpatrick
IIRC, the text in the table says differently, and says something saner for a striker

Mark as a generic term, perhaps, and not a game term. Like the old "up a level, down a level" issue.

dude, cut it with the yawp thing... that isn't quite how whitman meant it.

Brian Easton
It's not like Whitman coined the word.

Meh, I still prefer Rogues and Sorcerers. But that feat is cool! My hubby-to-be likes tankers -- I think I'll show him this one.

Hah hah, I got Draconomicon II from an anonymous source, scanned and OCRed a good few weeks before the street date! Time to spread it around and hurt WotC where it can, in their greedy pockets! Just like they mangled D&D itself with this 4E garbage.
(And I can spill its contents for those that don't believe :P )

Marc Palombo
4E rocks - not going back to 3.5 or earlier versions EVER...

@ Luis: You've really got some serious issues. I wish you all the best, but I just don't understand why you despise 4e so much, and yet you're a 'fan' of the official 4e D&D fan page on Facebook.
@Walter: See my comment to Luis. Why be a fan of something you hate? I mean seriously guys -- it's been YEARS. Time to move on.

The joke is probably on Luis as there good chances that he will get in trouble by admitting to pirating D&D books. Not very wise or smart admitting to something like that on such a public place as Facebook.
As for myself. I run a 4E game and played in a Pathfinder game yesterday . I find myself liking both editions. Each is good and each has its flaws. Silly imo to say editon xyz is better then edition abc. At least in my book.

I agree wholeheartedly with you Joe. I'll be honest -- I used to have a list of problems with 4th edition -- I can almost relate to Luis's feelings, I'm sure. But then I let go of the "this isn't D&D" sentiment and found I actually enjoy it a great deal. And it's at that point that I became of FAN of it on facebook.
