How stuff works is a nice site:
Here something about to the "scientific method" (they´ll never get it that science doesn´t mean anything else than compression (you know: like mp3s or avi´s get compressed, where they take something that seems 1 dimensional (a sequence of pictures or audiosignals and add 1 or 2 or even three other dimensions in order to reduce the length of the first dimension, the sequence)/than fusion/implosion)...:
http://science.howstuffworks.com/scienti fic-method10.htm
Here for example the maglev train:
http://www.howstuffworks.com/maglev-trai n.htm
Or here the big crunch as a complementary to the big bang:
http://science.howstuffworks.com/big-cru nch.htm
In fact I assume that the universe expands (fission) in some places while
it implodes (fusion) at other ones - and that this happens at the same time.

In this image taken by the orbiting Chandra X-ray Observatory, the bright dot near the center was seen to flicker and brighten dramatically for a few minutes. Many astronomers believe this provides additional evidence that a black hole does indeed reside at our Galaxy's center. ...

Topher Maurer I would imagine they have some insane ideas. Have you talked with theoretical physicists before? Some of the ideas that they have are out there... lol Although, who would have thought 50 years ago that we would be using vegetable oil in automobile engines? Or using nuclear power as a source for 1/5th of our annual energy use and increasing that amount every year? I like theoretical stuff better, I can wrap my head around it easier. I have always did better with concepts than with practice though.
Topher at 2:18pm July 8
I do not think that I have ever read those two articles but I have heard about the method. Their are a couple of methods out there dealing with ways to reduce the weapons grade plutonium I think.

Kristian Kroflin
Thank you, Topher. And good answer. You got it.
This is how I get who can be diverted easily (and still
will even though I post this here) so that I don´t bother
them any more.
I don´t expect anything from them. Why should I?
They can expect the same from me. I´m sure
they get the craziest suggestions of how it could
be done day by day.
And I still don´t like the words "source of energy".

Those three links all talk about recycling Nuclear waste. It is an idea that is practiced. No, it is not as advanced as it could be with financial backing, but it is still a good idea that helps to reduce the amount of waste. Their are more detailed explanations out there but these are the easiest to find and understand.
I am not sure why you try to put the philosophical ramblings into your posts?? They do not impress me... If you want to talk philosophy you can message me. Let's try to keep it to Physics in here. ;)
You say, Why not try to find a source of energy where we can use the byproduct as another source of energy? That is what scientists are trying to do. Right now they have been trying for all of 20 years at better sources of energy... Do you expect them to pop something out immediately??

Kristian Kroflin
To something general that coms from a specific point but can be applied to every other topic if the "grammar" (also called "physics") is understood:
some people unknown to me tend to say that they did something out of free will.
But how come that in the very next second they often point at something/somebody/energy (for example at me) outside and say this thing/person/energy made them do this (even if there´s no force involved)?
Richard at 11:31pm July 7
Outside events certainly trigger emotional responses! I like passionate people. It's heartless, apathetic people who earn our distrust.

Kristian Kroflin
Playing with the fisssion and fusion (nothing else really occurs anywhere) of air´s the alternative. And this alternative will also lead to the decentralization of energy transformation - and due to this: to the shortfall of transmission of "electric" energy (just energy on a low degree of the scale dimension - by the way: "energy" is a general/plurivalent word: you can connect it with anything, just like the word thing. It´s rather a grammatical word).
What´s rather a problem is the transmission of information, people and goods (also energy but on other degrees (or better: on more degrees at the same time) of the scale dimension).
English is indeed not my first language, but which language is mine?
Richard at 11:36pm July 7
Your English is fine, Kristian--Energy is definitely a context-sensitive word with numerous alternative meanings.

Kristian Kroflin
Tell me more about the recycling of nuclear waste - or at least give me the shortest of all explanations: a link.
"I do not know of a single energy source that you get from nothing..."
Doesn´t have to be nothing - but why not thinking in the way that the "waste" that occurs is useful again as another "source" of energy (since it´s all a thing of transformation of energy and neither sources nor users really occur)? We ourselves are both: we transform energy on usable and unusable degrees of the scale dimension.
Or as to say: you cannot gain nothing (not very scientific since this breaks the law of conservation of energy) from something.

Topher Maurer Also, Kristian- Can you read my posts? I just ask because it seems like you are from a different country and maybe English is not your first/native language? I just want to make sure that we are not getting lines crossed here that do not need to be crossed.

Topher Maurer
Kristian- You make me laugh at least. ;)
I do not use copy/pasted semantics. I could care less what other people think, nor do I play word games...
Yes, their is research going on and it is very promising on different ways to recycle the Nuclear waste.
Are you saying that I am not interested in science or research? I assure you that I am... Or that I am trying to make money?
You cannot gain something from nothing... Based on your posts half the time it seems as if you are looking for a perfect energy source, one that has no harmful effects on anything, is perfectly renewable, and is free(meaning nothing has to be sacrificed to gain the energy). I do not know of a single energy source that you get from nothing...
Why don't you name me a real alternative to the types of energy that we are investigating right now? I wonder what your idea of "real alternative power" is?

Kristian Kroflin
Topher, I am sorry that you only can use copied & pasted and therefore
automatized semantics that you have to share with a large bunch of people
who aren´t interested in science, research nor development - but in bluffing and
making money by doing this - means: stealing products and services from others
by raising false hopes.

Kristian Kroflin
What´s clean about it? You change the surroundings and tll me that this will have no consequences because you pretend that there´s plenty of wind, water and solar energy available. That doesn´t fit to the statements why "alternative" energies should be introduced.
So tell me: how much energy is needed to produce, maintain and recycle those energy-transformation-devices ?
Is research done on recycling the nuclear "waste"? Not that I know.
And: name me a real alternative, not those who are used to raise false hope
and to make money with fast-effects.

Topher Maurer Kristian WTF are you talking about?? You need to make your posts a bit clearer... Also, you think cleaner energy is a bad thing??

Kristian Kroflin
Physicians: now they´re selling their stuff with words like "this will lead to a major development", "this will change the world", "this will be inevitable in the future", this
will lead to the preservation and development of humanity", "this is interesting", "this is something that the world has never seen before". Bigmouths. Nothing than putting up false hopes. These guys are nothing than the counterpart of the Apocalyptics (and sometimes they even are the Apocalyptics as we can see with "clean" energy).

Ali at 10:07pm July 8
That was a cool Blog Thank you

Kristian Kroflin "but the reality is nore beautiful" So you´ve seen it with your own eyes and in detail, detail of detail (and so on and also in the other direction!) and over many repetitive (and therefore circulative - you know, like the circulation of a part of all of the things called watches today) processes of one of your body´s cells.
James at 11:41am July 6
you should be thrilled, dude.

Lelin Acharya this is the best ever artist imagination I have ever seen....

Blasphemy Bunny
Individual cells form together to create organs, which create a body.
Individual human beings form together to create societies, which create a civilization.
Individual planets form together to create galaxies, which create a universe...
We are all aware that energy cannot be created or destroyed....so when we 'die' our energy is simply recycled back into the 'energy source' like blood, air, and water....all of thee primary energy sources recycle themselves to purify and continue providing what is needed.
Everything operates under the same principles.
Religion is irrelevant.
The 'meaning of life' is the pursuit of the meaning of life.
Jennifer at 1:51pm July 6
I was in agreement with you up until you spoke of religion. In my opinion, it will only be irrelevant until you die. I personally marvel at the results and ORDER of his handiwork. What IS irrelevant is the time spent by ALL of us little brains trying to change each other's convictions. Live and let live... Eventually, we will all find out.
John at 4:34pm July 8
LOL

Jen Sheetz I am appalled that the topic of religion would even come up in a scientific forum. I do believe in Jesus Christ and I do believe in God, however what does that have to do with physics? Let us all believe as we believe. Let us separate Religion from Science, so as not to offend those, whose beliefs differ from our own.
Jared at 2:56pm July 8
Or, at least in the way we talk about them. In terms of possible knowledge, no, religion and science cannot be discussed as alike.
John at 4:31pm July 8
As a science teacher I have to also say that while science provides an enormous amount of information and knowledge, science is more of a process of solving natural problems, the better we get at how to solve the problem the more we learn. Scientific history has shown this. People can make a religion about most anything, science included, which tends to bring bias.

Physics It is totally respectful to believe to any God you find your answers from either He is Buddha, Jesus Christ, Allah or Zeus. Nevertheless it is far from the intentions of this page [and it's fans I hope] to try and manipulate or persuade others to follow one "God".

Kristian Kroflin
Physics is observation and decomposing imagination because of being in a straitjacket.
Others only compose while they´re in there.
I am just in it in order to figure out if some things get more likely or more unlikely to me which maybe have been the other way around before. It´s fun to play around.
"Truth"? Never have seen such an object.
ThE word "God", some use the word "coincidence" instead, is often used by those who want to act in a way that harms others but don´t want to take the responsibility for it - therefore they divert on "God" as the one to blame. People also did that with Hitler and so on. This diversion on something that can´t be blamed is also called excuse.

A Black hole is actually full of matter, that is what makes it different from a vacuum. It is black because the light cannot escape its gravity well.
