Key findings include:
-The level of trust that decision makers have towards their online communities is much higher than for other types of on...line information.

Do Fortune 100 companies need a Twitter-vention? A recent study by Weber Shandwick found that top companies are not effectively using Twitter to engage their audience.
Other findings included:
53% of the accounts lacked "personality, tone or voice.”
50% of accounts had fewer than 500 followers.
76% of accounts had fewer ...than 500 tweets.
15% didn't use the accounts at all.

In response to last week’s FDA hearings on using the web to communicate, Edelman released two reports (linked below) recounting each day’s noteworthy happenings and topics discussed. In the end the hearings did not conclude with an immediate vote or decision on using the Internet and social media to promote of health i...nformation. Instead, the agency will accept written testimony on these topics through February 2010 and then begin to develop guidelines, which Edelman’s Day 2 report informs will most likely not be available until at least late next year.
