Mortgage brokers have to make their advertising dollars count, and the lure of free advertising on the internet is certainly appealing. However, without a plan and a str...ategy, online marketing can mean wasted hours and frustration.
The Colorado Association of Mortgage Brokers (CAMB) has teamed with EduCyber, a web development and technology company, to present a series of Friday seminars on online marketing for their members.
Brian DeLaet, CEO of EduCyber and social media marketing expert will answer these and other pertinent questions in the series:
• How do you get new clients from participating on social networking sites like Facebook?
• What is a blog, and why should I have one?
• How do you use Twitter to expand your business?
• How much time do you need to spend online to be effective?
• What’s the one thing you should never do when marketing online?
The seminars begin on Friday, October 23 with Introduction to Social Media. The 8 seminars continue through December 18. (There’s no class Thanksgiving week.) CAMB members can enroll in all 8 for $70, or $10 per individual class. Non members pay $20 per class or $140 for the series. (Non members can join CAMB before the start of the series and have the additional $70 applied to their membership dues.) The classes will be held on subsequent Fridays from 9:30 to 11:00 am at EduCyber, 4251 Kipling St., Ste 190, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. Participants must bring a laptop. WiFi access is available.
