So true, sometimes the devil tries to make us feel that He's 10 zillion miles away. All we need to do is close our eyes take a deep breath, be still, and we realize He is right there beside us.

I have already posted it on my family's website to give a biblically opposing view to someone else's post of the approaching 2012 doomsday prediction. We should view the movie "solely" as entertainment, if we choose to see it.

Studying the Bible, prayer, and being able to remind myself of specific scriptures during certain trials in my life have been invaluable in bringing me peace and helping me to stand strong in my faith. To me, prayer and scripture are a powerful combination for spiritual growth.

I live on the east coast but used to get up at 7:00 a.m. every Sunday morning for his teachings. Most ministers I was accustomed to used to take their "text" from just one scripture and build their entire sermon on it. They might have used other scriptures during the sermon but were not specific about book, chapter and verse to prove their point.

The Word.....read it and learn it.

When you love God you want Him to be proud of you....He's our Father.

I think its great to admit what youre doing wrong or have done wrong. Then from there its about solutions ! It takes maturity to admit your faults humble yourself and make a change. No one can say they never have or else they would be a hypocrite.The difference is ive learned from those mistakes now and ive found solutions that has made my life alot more peaceful and loving :) So i highly respect those who admit when they are wrong then seek the Lord for guidance. Real guidance. We all can overcome no matter who what when where or why. GOD is above your circumstance. It takes time to change but the good news is GOD is patient with us and will never leave us.
