sounds great! however it's -25 below zero F. here in MN. I think i'll pass. especially since i sleep at work, more than one night, not draggin a giant duffle with me in this Frigid weather!!

For me, being a vegetarian is about being compassionate to our brothers and sisters in the animal kingdoms. My recent Western medicine blood work-up could not be more perfect---even my iron levels. I've never felt better physically or spiritually. If you're not already, just give it a try! Meat-Free Mondays perhaps?

You learn something new every day. I never knew all of this about the wool industry. The author, however, recommends bamboo as an alternative. For those of us trying to live chemical-free lifestyles, bamboo isn't much better, given the heavily chemical-intensive process required to turn bamboo into fabric. I guess there's no perfect solution, but for now, I'll stick with vintage, organic cotton and other natural options like hemp and linen.

I love wool. So sorry to hear it's cruel. We were talking about this last night out on the town...no one seems to realize. See comments: Ibex seems to be a 'mindful' wool alternative. And yes, bamboo is not green, generally, also more info in comments on post itself.
