Oh, the glamorous month of November in Nashville. The red carpet, the kisses in passing, the Taylor Swift run ins, the free pore of absolute. Everything.
Tonight was a magical night. To witness legends sing another legends songs and have that legend weep while listening to their lyrics as if no time had gone by, was honesty stunning. Kris Kristopherson was honored and adored by applauding following fans, glowing at the sight of this beautiful man's writing and years of interpreting real emotion that paved the way of every dreamer in the tented parking garage of awesome. A parking garage that was transformed into a Trump- like party. Seriously. Perfect.
Oh to count the awesome all on one hand is tiring for a young lady such as myself. A gal can only describe the surreal sensation of continuous beautiful happenings as she's drifting off into a deep rem of sleep....
But then theres also Facebook, Twitter, and other portals of non-mysterious wonder.
This whole night was one poofy pettycoat peaking out under an Austin vintage red velvet dress.... Aka: glamorous...aka: the same thing I was wearing tonight. It was awesome. But let me tell u something more majestic about these November nights that's even more deafeningly cool to sit and giggle and ponder about....
Its the stuff we artists do AFTER the nightof glam.
For one: I got in my dented Pontiac, hopped on I40 west, drove to Bellevue, and drove thru the non opened taco bell. Got down and out, then took a chance on the good old fashion Wendy....
She was closed too. I then went to Walgreens and proceeded to pack my arms with pert plus, colgate toothpaste, dog bones, socks, shavers for the pits and legs, a lean pocket, and clam chowder. Ya see, there is NOTHING that can top a night such as this. I love BMI. I love clamchowder. I love my tale wagging puppies when I walk in the door. I love Kris . And I love my life

hey all my peeps out there! it's CMA week in Nashville and everyone is buzzing around. I had a great dinner last night with my management team - so proud to have everyone on board and so looking forward to the coming weeks of grueling hours of riding around the country visiting radio with my AMAZING Capitol promo team! We just shot pictures for my album outside of Nashville...so many photos to choose from - i heart the photographer Kristin Barlowe so much!!! My stylist was Christiev (Big Kenny's wife) and i had the DIVALICIOUS Debbie Dover doing my hair and makeup all day...i felt like such a princess and loved the day.

I'm heading downtown now to do some TV interviews then a short photo shoot then i get to hang with some of the best songwriters in the world tonight at the BMI Awards dinner!!

Hi everyone! I’m in the Cedars Rapids airport waiting for my flight home and thought I’d catch you up on things in my crazy world!!! Last week I had the BEST time touring with Luke Bryan!! If you don’t have his new cd yet, GO GET IT! He is amazing and I’m so proud of his success! After our date in Minneapolis, I flew to Austin for the wedding of two of my bestest friends and had an incredible time – cried so many tears of joy (thank God for waterproof mascara!) We ended this two week trip with three long yet oh-so-fun days in my hometown of Waterloo, Iowa shooting footage for an upcoming TV special...watch for us on GAC starting in January! I cant wait to get home to love on my babies (my pups) for a few days before we head out of town again......OH, we’re doing the photo shoot for my album package in two weeks and I am SOO excited – I love a camera!!!
