When Moss and I first began our business we were living in an old school bus. We converted it into a cozy home and ran it on free, used veggie oil. Many thousands of miles were traveled in that bus. Often we would stay for weeks at free campgrounds and other out of the way places while we felted, washed and dyed wool.... Here are some pics from those days. You can read more from our blog here,

Enchanted Gypsy Fiber Art Wine in hand, I am up late filling orders and sewing boot soles. The door is open, a warm, gentle breeze brushes my arm and I am awash in the soft glow of moonlight. The crickets sing rhythmically,a great horned owl calls softly out across the meadow. This is my favoroite part of summer.There is a shifting and inner settling I perceive in my heart and in nature as we prepare for the quiet, introspective days of fall.
