Good thing my infant car seat is only 2 years old, but everybody else is riding around in seats that are 10 years old. whoops! Hope no police read this, ha ha! You know, it kills me, the stupid gov't wants us to be more environmentally conscious but then demands that we throw out our PLASTIC and STYROFOAM car seats every 6 years. Who came up with that BRILLIANT idea?

We promise not to call the car seat police, but be sure to get your car seats updated. It my understanding the law says car seats need to be used in accordance with the manufacturer guidelines and it's them (per their testing and independent testing) that determine how long car seats are safe and will work as intended.

Enkore Kids Have you gotten your Grapes & Gifts Galore tickets yet? It's Saturday at St. Thomas More Academy in Buckeystown (next to the post office) from 6-10pm. The event is their major fund raiser, but only costs $25 (advance purchase) for an evening of adult beverage tasting and food and a chance to get some early shopping done with over 30 vendors (including Enkore Kids!). I second Thirsties covers, prefolds and snappis!

I'm a fuzzibunz lover because I prefer snaps to velcro for older babies. I also hate the diaper laundry snake!

Thanks! I'll certainly look into getting Thirsties. We just got in the Rocy Moutain Diapers ( a one size with snaps) based on a previous recommendation. So I'm eager to see how those do, too! Please spread the word - we're the only local retail store where you can actually see/feel cloth diapers and we really want to expand, but we need your support to let others know. Thanks for the continued input!
