U.S. Environmental Protection Agency--Region 2 (NJ, NY, PR, USVI) Sponsored by ANJEC (Association of New Jersey Environmental Commissions), which is working with the Passaic River Institute, the Lower Passaic Watershed Alliance and Future City, under a grant from the U.S. EPA, will be at the Morris County Cultural Center on Tuesday, December 1 to promote protection and enjoyment of ...the Passaic River and its watershed resources. Kirk Zwikl, Executive Director of the Schuylkill River Heritage Area will speak about his experience in helping to establish the heritage area for the Schuylkill, including the pros and cons of the designation. This will be followed by a discussion about ways in which the Passaic River and its tributaries can benefit from the Schuylkill River advocates' experience.
