Powerboat P1 visits Sweden for the first time for the next two rounds of the World Championship!
Powerboating has a long and prestigious history dating back over 100 years, P1 is a relative newcomer having completed just six seasons of racing, but in this few years it has established a reputation for delivering world class sport and entertainment in vibrant and distinctive host cities. Powerboat p1 is the world’s premium marine motorsport with up to twenty teams competing at five Grand Prix of the Sea race weekends.
At up to 43ft and 7 tonnes, the twin engine mono-hull powerboats reach
speeds of over 200kph. The Powerboat P1 World Championship consists of two race classes: Evolution features powerful, purpose built, prototype boats, whilst SuperSport is high specification, production craft with open cockpits.
