ABOUT THE EVENT

Please join us for City of Hope's the Seventh Annual Wine & Food Festival, an evening of wine tasting and wonderful foods from favorite local eateries with a silent auction and live music at the Coronado Civic Center overlooking Glorietta Bay. Hosted by the Women’s Council of San Diego County, the event supports City of Hope, a leading biomedical research, treatment and education institution for cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Local eateries include The Barrel Room, Cinnabar Winery, Costa Azul Coronado, The Fish Market and Royal India. Sponsors are San Diego Magazine and Behind the Scenes Catering.
This year, cancer survivor Eileen Soukbandith will be honored with the Women’s Council’s Ambassador of Hope Award. An active member of the San Diego Women’s Council of San Diego, Soukbandith battled chronic myelogenous leukemia and today is an ardent supporter of City of Hope’s lifesaving research and treatment.

The Women's Council of San Diego County is a volunteer board of concerned female professionals that have come together to support City of Hope in its fight against cancer and other lifethreatening diseases. Their mission is to seek financial support for medical research, education, patient care programs and to facilitate public awareness of City of Hope.
