Description

The authors - Alexander Herman, Paul Matthews and Andrew Feindel - will be holding this event in order to teach people about their brand new book, Kickstart: How Successful Canadians Got Started (Dundurn, 2008).

The purpose of the book - and the event - is to understand what well-known Canadians did when they were in their twenties: their first jobs, their early obstacles and the lessons they learned. Included in Kickstart are Saskatchewan's former Lieutenant Governor Lynda Haverstock, entrepreneur Jim Pattison, MP Ralph Goodale, astronaut Roberta Bondar and many more.

We would like this project to touch young people today across the country - to show them they're not alone in feeling confused, lost or alone. Many successful people started the same way.
