*A MESSAGE FROM CHRIS AND JAMIE YAYA!*

Message from Jamie and Chris at To Write Love on Her Arms.

Body:
Hey Everyone,

First off, we would love to thank everyone for taking part in "To Write Love on Her Arms Day”. The event was created by a person how believes that hope and help is real. It was not an event officially created by TWLOHA, which makes it that much more amazing that almost half a million people responded and said they would be a part of this day.

For everyone who is still asking, "What is To Write Love on Her Arms?" go to our website: www.TWLOHA.com. There you will find where the title "To Write Love on Her Arms." comes from, facts about these issues, information on how to get help, our vision for TWLOHA, and ways to get involved. This is our invitation to you for an attempt at an honest conversation. If you would like to continue being a part of this conversation please join our official Facebook page below:

Here’s a message from Jamie Tworkowski, founder of TWLOHA:

"If you are/were one of the many participating in "TWLOHA Day", we want to say thank you. We didn't really have anything to do with it - this was just a case of people getting excited and wanting to do something and then that thing spreading... One thing we want to say is that our desire for this day and in general is that TWLOHA is meant to be about much more than writing a word on your arm. Don't get us wrong - we're not against that... we just think it's important that all of us stay focused on the heart of the matter, which is what that word (LOVE) means. What does it mean to love someone? What does it mean to love people who are hurting? What does it mean to love yourself? What does it mean to live a life that runs after hope and help and community? It's easy to write the word. It's another thing entirely to live the life. Let's live the life."

A1: This is a variation of what the actual organization TWLOHA does, the purpose is to raise awareness for depressed teenagers. To know what you can do to support this cause, refer to A2.
A2: Simple, write love on your arms, hopefully someone will say, “hey, why did you write love on your arms?” You say, “I am a part of a movement in where I am the self-promotion of this organization, it is to show that I care about those who are having a rough time.” Maybe someone who is going through something will see you with this, and you may just brighten their day
A3: The organization and this event are a little bit different, the title comes from the story listed on the website, feel free to check it out if you want to know the story!
A4: Any part of the world you can write love on your arm in :D
A5: Yes, it normally is if it is run by the organization TWLOHA, however, this is not.

"how do you know it's not going to do anything for suicide rates? All it takes is people caring for others. That was the whole reason for the movement is in the first place. All it took was a few people caring enough about a girl who was broken and shared with her a reason to live again.

So, by writing love on your arms, who knows whose attention its going to catch? You could end up talking to someone who was severely depressed and thinking about ending their life that day. I will NEVER stop thinking of my cousin and if I could have saved her by simply telling her how much I, and God, loved her. Its been 5 years and every day I miss her. So don't imply with your words that it's pointless to do this. It's not emo at all, its love.."
