Description

For those gentlemen wondering why the "Mad Men" had it so easy (never worrying about those pesky sexual harassment complaints) and all those female fans of shows like "TrueBlood," who have just about given up on finding a great guy--among the living; we bring you something a little different: "Twenty-First Century Affairs: Dating and Relationships Today," a free, live panel discussion featuring Dr. James Houran, a nationally known expert who writes and lectures on the subject of dating and compatibility and Dr. Stephen Dubberly, an electrifying speaker and our most popular lecturer, on two of the great relationship operas being presented this season: Mozart's Cosi fan tutte and Donizetti's Don Pasquale. Moderated by local arts journalist Chris Shull (Opera, Opera Now, the Star-Telegram), these experts will examine where love went wrong and how to get your relationships (past or present) back on track.

What makes a genuine love match? How do you keep the spark alive? How has dating changed in recent years, especially in the age of social websites and the internet?

Enjoy the lively art and then take a comfortable seat in the fourth floor gallery. Paid parking is available beneath the building. Bring a friend and join in the Q & A!

To RSVP: email amici@dallasopera.org or call 214-443-1044.
