The 2nd Annual Hunger Banquet and International Dinner is a unique event that aims to combine awareness of diversity, culture, internationalism, community service, and unity into one evening.
The event will begin with a dramatization of the worldwide wealth inequality. Guests will be placed in different income-level groups representative of the worldwide distribution of income, and given the corresponding amount and type of food, or lack thereof.
Join us for the Hunger Banquet, informational speakers, and performances by Speak for Yourself, Kol Echad, Jalwa, and more!
All proceeds will support Free the Children's effort to build a primary school in tsunami-devastated Ampara, Sri Lanka.
Tickets: $8 at the GSU Link; $10 at the door.
