Second City is extremely pleased to announce their launch night at Stereo on Saturday September 5th with very special guest Heiko MSO. Heiko MSO is an absolute visionary and stalwart of the German and European house music scene, almost since its inception. Having held residencies at some of the most revered clubs in Germany, if not the world, since the early nineties. Clubs such as XS, Dorian Gray, Wild Pitch Club and since 1999 at the infamous Robert Johnson Club in Offenbach. During this period he has been responsible for the production of classic house records such as ‘Mihon’ on Pod Communication with his co producers ATA and Atom Heart and also his biggest production success as FEOS VS MSO ‘Our Music’ with co producer Pascal Feos.

In addition, along with his colleague ATA he was the founder of the excellent Ongaku record label which subsequently spawned the two sub labels (Sub Labels?????) of Playhouse and Klang Electronic with the help of ROMAN FLÜGEL and JÖRN ELLING WUTTKE of ‘Alter Ego’ fame. This trio of labels has released some of the worlds best and most innovative house and electronic music of the last ten to fifteen years, no argument. Huge crossover records such as ‘Rocker’ by Alter Ego and ‘Kinda New’ by Spektrum, coupled with lesser known underground gems such as ‘Beau Mot Plage’ by Isolee, ‘Say Goodbye’ by Khan feat Julee Cruise and ‘Fizheuer Zieheuer’ by Ricardo Villalobos. The labels have also seen many other brilliant releases by an ever extending who’s who of the electronic music world including luminaries such as John Tejada, Fabrice Lig, Losoul, and Daniel Wang and all of the aforementioned above.

All in all it should an absolutely amazing launch night for Second City in Stereo on September 5th.
