Description
Robert McCracken Peck is a Senior Fellow of the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia, and a writer, naturalist, and historian. An active member of the Explorers Club, Mr. Peck has developed a special interest in the history of exploration. His books include A Celebration of Birds: The Life and Art of Louis Agassiz Fuertes (1982), Land of the Eagle: A Natural History of North America (1990), and most recently, All In The Bones: A Biography of Benjamin Waterhouse Hawkins (2008).
