Mike and Paula Chadderton invite you to beautiful Wensleydale for a walking break in the Yorkshire Dales. Spend four nights at Eastfield Lodge, Collett's charming Guest House in Wensleydale, which is 200 yards from the traditional market square of Leyburn, the principal town of Wensleydale and gateway to the Dales National Park.
Each day after a hearty breakfast, we will venture out on three ‘day walks’ in three different dales – Wensleydale, Swaledale and Wharfedale. Then there is time to relax in the hospitable atmosphere and comfort of Eastfield Lodge, where we have 9 delightful en suite bedrooms, a guest lounge and spacious dining room.
Sunday 19th April
Meet at Eastfield Lodge during the afternoon.
Pre-dinner drinks followed by an informal two course supper.
Monday 20th April - Wensleydale.
Starting from Eastfield Lodge taking in the Leyburn Shawl, Bolton Hall & the picturesque village of Wensley. An easy-ish walk of about 8 miles with the option of adding the Middleham Gallops (add 4 miles). Packed lunch provided.
Evening – Two course supper with wine at Eastfield Lodge.
Tuesday 21st April - Swaledale.
Drive to Keld (20 miles). The walk takes in Kisdon Hill,Thwaite and Muker with beautiful views of the River Swale and Eastgill Force. A moderate walk of about 8 miles with 500 metres of ascent to Kisdon Hill. Packed lunch provided. Evening - we will book a large table(s) in a local pub and have a pub meal together (pay individually) or if you prefer, eat out independently. We would be happy to book you into one of many excellent pub restaurants in the area.
Wednesday 22nd April - Wharfedale. Walking Holidays in the Yorkshire Dales
Starting from Buckden (15 miles), this walk climbs to Cray from Buckden with magnificent views of Upper Wharfedale and taking in a section of the Dales Way on its return.
Soup and sandwich lunch in a traditional Dales pub – pay individually.
This is a moderate walk of about 9 miles with 300 metres of climb.
Evening – three course dinner with wine at Eastfield Lodge.
Thursday 23rd April
Depart at your leisure anytime after breakfast.

£195 per person (based on two people sharing a room)
£325 per person (where single occupancy is required)
Price includes bed, breakfast, informal supper (Sunday), packed lunches (Monday and Tuesday) and three course dinner (Wednesday)
