Description

Ruth loves Danielle but is being forced to marry Edwin.

Edwin doesn’t want to marry Ruth because he’s in love with someone else.

Danielle loves Ruth and is posing as the nephew of a wealthy politician to get her back.

And Leon is in love with Emma who is helping him plot to kill the president.

Set against the backdrop of the McKinley assassination, A Day at the Fair tells the story of Ruth Watkins, a young woman at the center of New York high society who has been brought to the Pan American Exposition to meet her future husband, after she is caught kissing her best friend Danielle Winslow. It’s September 6th 1901 and it’s terrible hot. The president is attending the fair today, and while Ruth and Danielle scheme to end the engagement a young anarchist stalks the president.
