Description
Hip-Hop Broadway is part of the AT&T Performing Arts Center inaugural season. The production is a bit of spoken word, fast paced, up tempo, and a dazzling musical review highlighting some of Broadway's most memorable show tunes. Starring Tony Award winners Jennifer Holiday and Melba Moore, Metropolitan Opera Star Harolyn Blackwell, multi-award and Grammy winner Erykah Badu, Ms. Sofia from Broadway's The Color Purple Felicia P. Fields, and Trent Armand Kendall also from Broadway's The Color Purple along with Dallas' finest young professional emerging artists. An original 90-minute performance written, directed and produced by Mr. Curtis King.
