Imagine… the greatest skater in history… the biggest skate ramp in europe… an exceptional venue in paris… live painting… international concert…

Quiksilver is set to create a stir in Paris this fall with an exceptional event blending skateboarding, music and art.

An immense street course, filling the awe-inspiring proportions of the nave of the Grand Palais, will play host to pro-skaterboarders for a street contest invitational competition, demos and introductory sessions with the elite from Quiksilver Team.

Meanwhile, the guest of honour at the Tony Hawk Show will be the celebrated and prolific Parisian graffiti artist : André A pioneer of French graffiti in the early eighties, André was the
first graffiti artist in the world to create a motif character tag, “Mr A”.

The Tony Hawk Show - and Friends - with Andy MacDonald, Sandro Dias and Sergie Ventura among others, will take place on the evening of Saturday November 21st, on a king size vert ramp set up beneath the imposing glass ceiling of the Grand Palais.

To mark this unprecedented meeting of sporting and architectural monuments, a concert by Dead by Sunrise will take place on Saturday November 21st.

Imaginez... le plus grand skateboarder de l’histoire... la plus grande rampe de skate d’Europe... un lieu exceptionnel à Paris... Une expo d'art urbain et de tendances… un concert d’envergure internationale...

Quiksilver créé l'événement, cet automne, en proposant une manifestation et une expérience hors du commun mixant skate, musique et découverte artistique au sein du Grand Palais, à Paris.

La star mondiale du skateboard, Tony hawk, accompagnée de quelques uns des meilleurs ramp-riders du monde (Andy MacDonald, Jean Postec, Kevin Staab, Jesse Fritsch et Sergie Ventura) feront une démonstration nocturne le samedi 21 novembre prochain sur la plus grande rampe de skate d'Europe, dressée dans le cadre majestueux du Grand Palais à Paris.

Côté art, l’invité d’honneur du Tony Hawk Show sera le célèbre et prolifique graffeur parisien: André Pionnier du graffiti français du début des années 80, André fut également le premier à créer son propre personnage, Mr A.

Pour accompagner cette rencontre inédite entre monuments du sport et de l’architecture, un concert de Dead By Sunrise est programmé samedi 21 novembre (plus d’infos très prochainement…)
