Description

This FREE event features students from the Literary Media and Communications Department at Duke Ellington School of the Arts (http://www.ellingtonschool.org). Along with selections of traditional Rumi poetry, they will perform their own poems, based on a curator-led tour of the exhibition.

These talented students have studied the exhibition and worked on the performance especially for this evening! Experience reactions in poetry to the exhibition and Iranian culture.

Exhibiting artists Eric Robert Parnes and Hadieh Shafie will present a talk to the students on the afternoon of Thursday, November 5, 2009.
