Description
Come explore the caves of Florida Caverns State Park! The club will be leaving from the NZ Breezeway on Friday at 5 pm to travel to the panhandle for a weekend of FUN.
We'll be camping Friday night (potential night cave tours) and exploring the park all day Saturday. Opportunities abound with hiking the various trails, paddling in a canoe or kayak down the Chipola River, going on one of the many cave tours, fishing, swimming, and general buffoonery. Plan to come home LATE Saturday night. We would have stayed that night, but the campground was entirely full. So we'll just make the most out of the time we do have.
Bring a sleeping bag, tent if you have one, clothes, head lamp, bug spray, sunscreen, water, camera, $10-20 for food and activities, and funny/scary stories to tell around the campfire. Also, BYOB!
