In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October) and Medical Assistants Recognition Week (October 19 – 23, 2009), the University of Northwestern Ohio’s Medical Assistants’ students that are nearing graduation are setting up an informational booth outside the UNOH 100 Admissions building on Cable Road on October 20th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Informational handouts on breast cancer awareness and literature on correct breast self-exam procedures will be available as well as door prizes and refreshments.
