Norwegian Aikidoka may have met Fabrice Somers at the Doshu seminar in 2007, or at a number of Endo Shihan seminars throughout Europe, or even in Japan!

Fabrice Somers belongs to Aïkikai Tokyo, that he visits several times a year in order to get in touch with the essence of our art and to train with Doshu. His work and his teaching are greatly influenced by Endo Senseï to whom he is very close. He often accompanies Endo throughout his European trips as an uke. In addition, Somers takes a yearly trip to Hombu dojo to train with Doshu.

Fabrice Somers does not consider aikido to be a fighting art, but more a relationship, a dialogue with a partner, though a dialogue where the martial aspect is still present.

Fabrice Somers is taking 3 of his higher graded students with him, so there will be plenty of opportunity to practice with good people!

Fabrice Somers has recently build his own dojo, Junten Dojo, named by Endo Sensei who also inaugurated the dojo on Octobre 6, 2009 (see link below). Congratulations!
