Description
Editor Sean Wilsey and writer Jed Lipinski celebrate the paperback release of "State by State: A Panoramic Portrait of America", a wonderful collection of essays from acclaimed writers, about the states they love. Sean and Jed will talk about the process of creating a collaborative book like this collection.
WORD is hosting a writing contest in the same spirit, called "Neighborhood by Neighborhood". Write a short essay (500-1000 words) about your favorite part of NYC: from Washington Heights to Vinegar Hill to Greenpoint!
Send submissions to kelly@wordbrooklyn.com by November 12th to be entered. Winner gets an autographed copy of the book, a WORD gift certificate and a chance to read their winning piece at the event.
