Description

De Anza's Gay-Straight Alliance is proud to screen the film 'Saving Face'. A brilliant romantic comedy about right, wrong, and everything in between. Saving Face was the first feature film from writer and director Alice Wu.

Plot Summery: A Chinese-American lesbian and her traditionalist mother are reluctant to go public with secret loves that clash against cultural expectations.

The movie will be followed by a student lead discussion encompassing the friction between cultural and LGBT values.
