On October 24, Rogue magazine and URCC will stage its second annual Black Tie Brawl at the Renaissance Hotel in Makati

From a ringside seat with a view to kill for, you might just exchange furtive glances with a debonair British spy, irresistibly suave but suitably arrogant, as he slithers his way through a shaken-and-stirred crowd of starched tuxedos and slinky evening gowns—all of whom are in for a night of chaos and carnage.

In true James Bond style, Rogue magazine is set to stage another action-packed evening: the second annual Black Tie Brawl (www.blacktiebrawl.com), a formal Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) event that will take place in the center of Renaissance Hotel’s grand ballroom on Saturday, October 24, 2009, at 7 P.M.

For the full Casino Royale effect, there will be unlimited whisky, champagne, and vodka (or vodka martinis, if that better suits your savvy taste). Renaissance Hotel has also been commissioned to whip up fancy hors d'oeuvres and a customized three-course dinner to, well, die for. Your ticket also gives you admission to the private after party at Cinnabar.
Powered by the Universal Reality Combat Championship (URCC), the evening’s eight challenges will be paired in different weight categories. Seasoned and professional URCC champions will slug it out—sans the gloves—for a shot at fame and glory.

Premier tickets are priced at P4,500, while Ringside tickets are priced at P6,700 vat inclusive.

In the words of 007 himself, it will be “shocking, positively shocking.”
