Description
The American Civil Liberties Union is hosting a fundraiser event in benefit of the Innocence Project of Florida. The event will take place on September 24 from 6 til 10pm at Paradise Grill & Bar in Tallahassee, Florida. Live music will be provided by Eclectic Acoustic (http://www.myspace.com/eclecticacoustic). The Innocence Project of Florida (IPF), founded in 2003, is a non-profit organization that uses DNA testing to help the wrongfully convicted obtain their freedom and rebuild their lives. IPF has been screening, investigating, placing and litigating innocence cases for the past 5 years. We have to date received over 2000 inquiries and/or requests for assistance.
