Description
Robert Altman -- visionary director, hard-partying hedonist, eccentric family man, Hollywood legend -- comes roaring to life in this rollicking cinematic biography, told in a chorus of voices that can only be called Altmanesque. Mitchell Zuckoff is a professor of journalism at Boston University. He is the author of three previous books before the publication of ROBERT ALTMAN; AN ORAL BIOGRAPHY. As a reporter with the Boston Globe, he was a finalist for a Pulitzer Prize and the recipient of numerous national writing awards. Mitch will kick off a film series featuring Robert Altman's films running through early December. After Robert's lecture and signing, enjoy Altman's 10 minute short, Les Boreades from the 1987 film Aria.
