Soul Sanctuary Dance, Berkeley's Sunday midday community dance since 2003 presents:
"Caribbean Celebration"
This Sunday, we'll dance to irresistible Caribbean songs - salsa, zouk, rumba, reggae, dancehall, soca, junkanoo, and fusions like afro-cuban jazz and cuban hip hop - and we'll celebrate the 6th birthday of one of our younger regulars.
Everyone dances – no need to “ask” anyone to dance. Everyone dances how they want to dance – no need to know any steps. Soul Sanctuary Dance is a great informal workout for everyone, rejuvenating, fun, and nourishing for the soul. Children and teens are always appreciated on the dance floor. Free organic fruit after the dance.
See you on the dance floor - shoes optional! Wheelchair accessible. Please no scents.
