Description
During Suicide awareness week (Monday, May 5th – Friday May 9th) SSPC, will be trying to get the word out about the serious nature of suicide and depression on college campuses. Our goal is to educate community members about depression and suicide, how its effects impact us all, how to recognize the symptoms and signs, and most importantly, how and where to get help. In addition, we will also strive to reduce the stigma that is attached to these conditions by providing a non-judgmental forum where community members can feel free to discuss their thoughts and feelings.
Schedule of Events:
All Week on Sproul from 11-2
SSPC Table
Come get a free support wristband, get more information on the signs of suicide, and resources.

He caught over two dozen suicides on film. The movie will be followed by a discussion with a Crisis Support Services Counselor. We will have a forum on the obligations that we have to others in our society, the signs of suicide, and ways that we can help.
