Description
On Friday 11th December 2009 at 17.45hrs, an ecumenical service of prayer will take place in Christ Church Cathedral. The service has been organised by Trócaire, Christian Aid and Eco Congregation Ireland on behalf of Stop Climate Chaos. The guest of honour and speaker will be Mrs. Mary Robinson, former President of Ireland and former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, and RTÉ Cór na nÓg will provide the music.
Stop Climate Chaos is a coalition of development, environmental and faith organisations, and the service has been organised in advance of the UN Climate Summit in Copenhagen. All are welcome to attend the service.
