FROG FEST
Blue Frog goes national! The frogFEST 2009 in Delhi marks the launch of an exciting nationwide series of blueFROG music festivals. The festival will run for two days and will present three incredible bands each day. The frogFEST is a natural extension of Blue Frog’s touring property leapFROG which has already seen considerable success in taking bands on nationwide gigs to Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Calcutta and Delhi. These festivals will showcase the finest live talent available in India and around the world.
The frogFEST will be held in a different city in India every quarter and will be a platform for high quality live performances. Blue Frog has, over the last two years, drawn in phenomenal talent from all over the world and the idea behind the frogFEST is to spread a wide musical net all over the country and take this talent to a larger Indian audience.
frogFEST Delhi 2009 will be held at the Magique, amphitheatre, a beautiful and rustic outdoor performance space. The early winter air and magical backdrop will be the perfect setting for this event. After the outdoor performances, DJs will take over inside the Magique restaurant carrying the party on well into the night. Magique is one of Delhi’s premier restaurant-lounge performance spaces, located in the Garden of the Five Senses and is the ideal launchpad for the frogFEST.
