Photographer Hugh Kretschmer will give a brief gallery talk at Clark Oshin Gallery at The Icon as a part of the Miracle Mile Art Walk, running from 4:30 - 8:00 p.m., Saturday, July 18th. Kretschmer's talk will begin at 6:15 p.m.

A native of Los Angeles, Hugh Kretschmer is an internationally acclaimed photographer known for his meticulously rendered conceptual images. The majority of his work is done in-camera with a fastidious sense of detail applied to designing, building and lighting lavish sets and props. He also incorporates elements of collage and assemblage, with minimal digital manipulation, resulting in complex, beautiful images.

Clark | Oshin is the newest gallery on the Art Walk tour. Hugh Kretschmer's exhibition runs through September 15, 2009. The Icon is a full service photo lab offering exceptional museum-quality traditional and digital printing.
