We live in a society that relies on cars to get around. And sometimes just asking people to change their habits isn’t enough. So we’re seeing what happens if we give them a little push. Or in this case, some pedals.

Starting on June 27th, at BEST's pancake breakfast we will be ‘releasing’ 45 bikes into the community for people to use and pass along. If you would like to participate in the Vancity Bike Share, write a blog entry on www.ChangeEverything.ca, in fewer than 100 words, sharing why you want a Vancity Bike Share bike. Be sure to tag your entry with the tag 'bikesharerequest' (how to tag your blog entry)

We are putting the word out there to find people (you!) who are interested in participating in this experiment. So, log on to ChangeEverything.ca and tell us why you want a bike!

ps - If you know of anyone who does not have a bike but would like to see how having one might change their life, please forward this on to them.
