Description

Still on the fence about ONE/Northwest’s Facebook Knowledge Share event tomorrow night? Time to jump off, friends.

Due to extraordinary interest, we can only guarantee spots for those who have RSVPed "Attending" by end of day today.

Thanks so much for helping us out and we look forward to seeing you tomorrow!

If you’re anything like us, you’re mildly obsessed with Facebook. (And that’s putting it mildly.)

A few months back, Facebook reconfigured news feeds to feature status updates from organizations and businesses. You remember when that happened. Your fans started paying more attention to you, thumbs-up began appearing, and you noticed people actually reading your content. What are you doing to captivate this audience? What information are you posting, how much is too much, what about your blog, and how does it all relate to Twitter?

Speakers for this Facebook Knowledge Share include staff from:

*Washington Bus
* People for Puget Sound
*Washington Trails Association

These groups have invested time and effort into their social media programs, and will share how they use Facebook to expand their advocacy work, promote news and events, build relationships, and engage with a greater number of their supporters online.

ONE/Northwest staff will share info on the new technology tools we are developing around social media. We’re seeing some great opportunities to reach people where they are currently gathering in this rapidly evolving online world.

As always, these events are free, but they fill up fast, so an RSVP is required.

We look forward to seeing our own Facebook Fans in real life! We’ll even pass you a round of (real) drinks, ask you which Little House on the Prairie character best represents you, and check in on how your farm is growing.

Speakers include:

*Toby Crittenden with The Washington Bus

*Troy Coleman with People for Puget Sound

*Lauren Braden with Washington Trails Association
