Dear All,
Again, welcome back to Ann Arbor! We'd like to invite you all to the New Student Dinner 2008:
Date: Friday, September 19, 2008
Time: registration starts at 6pm, dinner served at 6:30pm
Location: The Great Lakes Hall, Palmer Commons (100 Washtenaw Ave., Ann Arbor 48109)
Price: $10 per person
We'd like to make a special invitation to all new students, including freshmen, transfer students and graduate students, to come along and get to meet fellow students in the Hong Kong community here at U of M. Of course, we'd also love to see all the returning students and members of the HKSA to come along and welcome the new students to Michigan.
The dress code is SMART. We also have awards and prizes for the best-dressed so come ready to dazzle the crowd! A full buffet is included in the price, and dinner will be followed by a host of awesome activities.
The price for this event is $10. Tickets can be purchased on the Ground Floor of the UGLi (the Shapiro Undergraduate Library) from Wednesday 10th September to Friday 12th September from 2pm to 6pm. A member of the HKSA Exco will be sitting at a table on the Ground Floor. If you haven't met any of our board and won't be able to recognize us, please email me and we can definitely try to make alternative arrangements. We accept payment by cash or check. Please make checks payable to HONG KONG STUDENT ASSOCIATION.
